Description:

The Narishige PC-10 Dual Stage Glass Micropipette Puller is a high-precision system designed for the reliable and consistent production of micropipettes with tip sizes ranging from one micron to tenths of a micron. It is particularly suited for the fabrication of microinjection needles and pipettes used in patch clamp experiments.

This micropipette puller features a stabilized built-in power source that ensures the uniform delivery of current to the heating coil, providing consistent and even heating each time. The heater levels for both single and double-pull operations can be precisely adjusted and are displayed through a highly visible digital LED readout, offering users full control over the process.

To protect the integrity of the micropipettes during the pulling process, the PC-10 includes an acrylic shroud that shields the micropipettes from external air currents, ensuring the micropipette shape and size remain unaffected by drafts. The pull force can be further adjusted using two pairs of weights (light and heavy), allowing for the fine-tuning of the pipette pulling force.

This system also includes a spare heater coil and a sample of 1.0mm I.D. glass microcapillary tube with internal glass fiber (GD-1), providing the necessary materials for immediate use and setup.
